An Open Letter of Welcome

Dear Friends,

Several months ago, we came together with shared passion and vision of bringing the knowledge and benefits of therapeutic-grade essential oils to the world. We wanted to be different and we wanted to be better and asked ourselves some defining questions—"What if we could provide the world with a new and powerful wellness alternative?" "What if we could provide this new level of wellness through a mainstream approach to essential oils?" "What if we source, test, and manufacture a higher quality of essential oil more pure and more potent than any other oil available on the market today?" "What if we, in a most professional manner, could partner with major hospitals, doctors, scientists, and opinion leaders to provide the most compelling authentication of essential oils on the planet?" We concluded that, with the hard work and commitment of others with a similar passion and vision, we can and will create a new paradigm for essential oils in the world. With that conviction, we organized a company and our lives haven't been the same since. We named our company DōTerra which is a Latin derivative meaning "Gift of the Earth."

DōTerra is committed to the natural and empowering ideals associated with essential oils. Leveraging largely untapped sources from around the world, DōTerra essential oils will meet rigorous standards of a new testing paradigm for essential oils to be labeled Certified Therapeutic Grade™. Our first product samples are noticeably different than anything we have experienced in our many years in the industry. Whether you are new to essential oils or a seasoned expert, you will immediately recognize the superior quality of the oils with your first experience. We look forward with enthusiasm and joy to make our first products available to consumers very soon.

We appreciate the early interest in DōTerra expressed by many already committed to bringing the many benefits of essential oils to a broader audience. We also welcome a growing number of new people who are just starting to learn about how essential oils can change their lives and the lives of others around them.
